Ah, what I've been working on FOREVER.
This, naturally, is a little snapshot of the marauders circa 1978. The girls are Lily Evans and Marlene McKinnon. Lots of work, lots of shading, lots of colors.
Points of interest:
- Yes, I go through a lot of trouble to make sure that Sirius is always smoking in my depictions of him. He's a badass, what can I say?
- Lily's wearing a '70s peasant shirt to show that she follows muggle fashion.
- And James is wearing Timberland-esque boots. I don't know if that's accurate, but it felt right. Also, he's only wearing one.
I'm just fond of this in general.
